THE GREAT EGG-SCAPE

My debut illustrated musical children’s book began with the melancholy charm of a beloved British nursery rhyme and soon grew into something much more expansive. What was originally conceived as a contemporary jazz composition—The Miraculous Metamorphosis of Humpty Dumpty—blossomed into a poetic, imaginative tale about resilience and the quiet, transformative power of inner vision.

 

The project now weaves together lyrical storytelling, immersive illustrations, and a richly orchestrated musical arc. Production of Humpty’s journey—in video, eBook, and audiobook formats—is well underway. Along with my original English script and score, the story will also appear in Turkish and Spanish. The Turkish edition, YUMTI, was lovingly adapted by singer-songwriter Özgür Başkaya, and the Spanish version, ZANKI, was poetically penned by Colombian pianist–composer–vocalist Nico Yurgaki.​​
